This Events Policy explains how events sessions workshops and activities organised or promoted by TISA Network Ltd operate.
By registering for or attending any TISA event you agree to this policy.

1. About TISA events
Events are organised or promoted by TISA Network Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales, operating under the brand The International Students Association.
Important clarification
TISA is not a government body statutory authority university or public institution.
Events are community and awareness focused initiatives only.

2. Types of events
TISA may organise or promote events including
• Career and job awareness sessions
• Academic and skill development workshops
• Wellbeing and mental health awareness sessions
• Safety and scam awareness events
• Networking and community meetups
• Online sessions webinars and live Q and A
• Collaboration events with companies NGOs or partners
Event formats may be online offline or hybrid.

3. Access and eligibility
• Some events are free for TISA members
• Some events may have a minimal charge
• Charges are clearly communicated before registration
• Event access may be limited based on capacity or eligibility
TISA reserves the right to approve or refuse event participation.

4. Registration and attendance
• Registration details must be accurate
• Event spots are non transferable unless stated
• Failure to attend does not create refund rights
• Late arrival or early exit does not entitle compensation
Participants are responsible for their own attendance and arrangements.

5. Event fees and refunds
• Event fees are non refundable unless stated otherwise
• No refunds for no shows or late cancellations
• If TISA cancels an event a refund or credit may be considered at discretion
Refund decisions do not set a precedent.

6. Third party speakers and partners
Events may include third party speakers organisations or partners.
TISA is not responsible for
• Views opinions or advice shared by speakers
• Accuracy of third party content
• Actions or conduct of external participants
Participation is at the attendee’s discretion.

7. Behaviour and conduct
All attendees must
• Behave respectfully
• Avoid harassment abuse or discrimination
• Follow event rules and instructions
• Not disrupt sessions or participants
TISA may remove any participant who violates conduct standards without refund.

8. Recording and content
• Events may be recorded for internal or educational use
• By attending you may appear in recordings or images
• Recordings may be shared with members
Personal recording without permission may be restricted.

9. Safety and liability
Attendees participate at their own risk.
TISA is not liable for
• Personal injury
• Loss of property
• Technical failures
• Travel issues
• Third party actions
For emergencies always contact official emergency services.

10. Changes or cancellations
Events may be modified postponed or cancelled due to operational or external factors.
TISA is not liable for inconvenience or costs incurred.
