Leaders are the backbone of the TISA community.
They are the ones who step in when students are confused stressed stuck or simply need someone who understands the system and listens.

Who is a TISA Leader

A TISA Leader is someone who
 

• Genuinely cares about students and their real problems
• Is ready to take responsibility not just credit
• Believes support matters more than status
• Can guide students calmly ethically and respectfully
• Understands that being available is part of leadership

 

Leaders act as the bridge between students and the TISA core team.
They listen escalate guide and support when it matters most.

Minimum age to apply is 18 years.

What TISA Leaders Actually Do

This is not a passive role.
Leaders are hands on.

​​

As a TISA Leader you may
• Act as a first point of contact for students who need help
• Listen to student concerns and guide them to the right next steps
• Coordinate with the TISA team on student issues
• Help manage and resolve common student challenges
• Support awareness initiatives and student communication
• Represent TISA values in your local or digital community
• Be present when students need clarity reassurance or direction

 

Leadership here is about doing the work not holding a label.

Who Can Apply

This role is open only to students who

​

• Are currently enrolled in a UK based Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme
• Hold valid student status in the UK at the time of application
• Can maintain student status throughout the duration of the role

​

Before applying to become a TISA Leader, you must be an active member of TISA.

​

This ensures that every leader truly understands our values, services, and student first approach. Leaders represent TISA to other students, and membership helps you experience the support system before guiding others.

​

If you are not yet a member, we recommend joining TISA first and then applying for the Leader role, once your membership is confirmed.

• Follow TISA policies and community standards
• Always put student wellbeing safety and dignity first
