This Membership Policy explains how membership with TISA Network Ltd works, including eligibility, access, renewal, limitations, and responsibilities.
By registering as a member, you agree to this policy in full.

1. About TISA Membership
Membership is offered by TISA Network Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales, operating the brand The International Students Association (TISA).
Important clarification
TISA is not a government organisation, not a statutory authority, and not affiliated with immigration offices embassies or universities.
Membership provides access to a student support and information ecosystem, not official representation or authority.

2. Who can become a member
You may apply for membership if you are
• An international student in the UK
• A domestic student in the UK
• A recent graduate
• Aged fifteen years or older
Membership is subject to verification and internal approval.
TISA reserves the right to accept, reject, suspend, or cancel any membership application at its discretion.

3. Nature of membership
Membership with TISA
• Is voluntary
• Is personal to the individual
• Is not transferable
• Does not create employment or agency
• Does not create legal rights or authority
Membership does not represent government recognition or endorsement.

4. Membership duration
• Membership is valid for 12 months from the date of activation
• Access ends automatically at expiry unless renewed
• Renewal reminders may be shared for convenience
If auto renewal is enabled, it remains fully under the member’s control and can be cancelled by the member at any time.

5. Membership fees
• Membership fees are clearly displayed before payment
• All fees are non refundable
• Fees are non transferable
• No refunds are provided for partial use or non use
Payment confirms acceptance of this policy.

6. What membership includes
Membership provides access to
• Student guidance and awareness
• Job and career related updates
• Event information and participation
• Community engagement
• Safety and scam awareness
• Digital resources
• Emergency coordination guidance
All services are informational and guidance based only.

7. What membership does not include
Membership does not guarantee
• Jobs interviews or sponsorship
• Academic success or grades
• Housing placement
• Financial aid
• Medical legal or immigration advice
• Emergency resolution or outcomes
Final decisions and responsibility always remain with the member.

8. Communication and updates
Members receive updates via
• Email
• Official communication channels
• Member only platforms where applicable
It is the member’s responsibility to ensure contact details remain accurate and emails are not missed.

9. Code of conduct
Members are expected to
• Engage respectfully with others
• Avoid harassment discrimination or abuse
• Use services responsibly
• Not misuse emergency or reporting channels
• Follow applicable laws and policies
Violation of conduct standards may result in suspension or termination without refund.

10. Suspension or termination
TISA may suspend or terminate membership if
• Policies are violated
• False information is provided
• Services are misused
• Behaviour threatens community safety
• Legal or regulatory risk arises
Termination does not entitle the member to a refund.

11. Volunteering and leadership
Participation in volunteering or leadership roles
• Is optional
• Is unpaid unless stated
• Does not create employment
• Is subject to separate guidelines
Roles may be withdrawn at any time if standards are not met.

12. Data and privacy
Membership data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Members are responsible for reviewing and understanding how their data is processed.

13. Changes to membership
TISA may update membership structure features or benefits to improve services.
Changes will not create refund rights.

14. Governing law
This Membership Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
